StaffHeroes: a managed temporary staffing portal

The challenge

StaffHeroes, a temporary staffing startup, needed a portal suited to events work. The model was not a public job board: staff registered with the service and received position offers from potential employers.

The staffing team's responsibility continued after an offer was made. They needed to follow assignments through to the event, checking attendance and following up so workers received payment for their work.

Our contribution

Tarkmote implemented the staffing portal around this managed workflow, supporting registered staff, employer offers and the staffing team's coordination of assignments.

The project connected the digital offer process with the operational work behind placing temporary staff, rather than treating a listing or application as the end of the workflow.

Supporting growth and presentation

Alongside the portal, we developed a process for collecting job-listing data and providing information about potential users to the startup's marketing team for research and follow-up.

We also supported the website redesign, complementing the portal work with improvements to the public-facing presentation of the service.

The outcome

A staffing portal tailored to registered workers and employer offers, supporting the team's management of temporary assignments. The broader engagement also provided marketing research data and website redesign support.
