From MVP architecture to a working reseller platform

The challenge

A communications services business needed a platform where resellers could purchase services from multiple providers for their own customers.

The project needed to bring those offerings into a coherent purchasing and management experience, while establishing a practical architecture and delivery model for an initial release and subsequent development.

Our contribution

Tarkmote architected and planned the MVP for the reseller platform. We helped bring the console to a successful beta launch and took responsibility for its infrastructure, deployment approach and operational stability.

The work connected application planning and integration with the practical requirements of releasing and operating the platform.

Beyond the beta

Following the beta launch, we expanded the console around new features and usage needs. The work included:

• Monitoring views for the communications services managed through the platform.
• Additional reports and improvements informed by how the console was used.
• A hardware store extending the reseller purchasing experience.
• Service add-ons that extend business telephony functionality.

These additions grew the console beyond its initial service purchasing scope, bringing a broader set of reseller activities into the platform.

The outcome

A successfully launched beta, followed by a broader reseller console supporting communications services, hardware commerce, monitoring, reporting and add-ons.

The engagement demonstrates continuity across architecture, delivery, infrastructure ownership and product development after the initial release.
